Easy drinking, no off flavors but not a lot of complexity in the palate. For a single pot still I'd hope for a bit more of a full flavor profile. I'm enjoying this for sure, but for the cost and compared to the competition on price and flavor complexity? Not great.

Maybe I'm too used to expensive single malts and pot stills but I can't help but notice how harsh this blend is. I suspect it's the grain in the blend.

Honey and Christmas spices (ginger allspice nutmeg) Not a ton of body, finishes kind of thin and medicinal. I get the feeling there's a lot of grain compared to malt in this blend because of that.

Tastes like chocolate and caramel with a hint of oak wood.

Excellent dram for the price, nice caramelly malt flavor, no astringent alcohol burn. Not a lot of wood notes, probably because it’s younger.

Sweet, honey and butterscotch and orange notes. Not really complex, not a ton of wood notes but a pleasant, smooth palate. Got this for $27 at the NH liquor store. A great single malt for not a lot of money, will buy again
