There's a lack of complexity here but it's still a highly drinkable scotch. The sweetness and dark leather balance in an interesting way. The fruit dissipates as leather and smoke come through and continue to linger a bit. Would definitely sip again.

Very plain. Some floral, hop notes if you can find some flavor at all.

While some chocolate, nut and citrus notes are present ; nothing stands out. It all blends together finely if not a bit bland.

I had the strange initial thought with the aroma, that it reminded me of the Christmas season. Overall I get chocolate, spearmint, cinnamon, char and lemon. In my opinion it's just a bit above average. As time passes, it's possible this one might grow on me.

It's very smooth, but not mindblowing. Hints of pear, dark cherry and some chocolate.

It's safe to say that it lives up to the hype. Maple syrup, butterscotch, toffee, sweet caramel, slight cherry, with just the right amount of spice you'd want from a rye.

I haven't had this bottle in awhile and I'm glad I picked it up. Banana nut bread, chocolate, whipped cream, wood, and even got some caramel latte like flavors on the finish. Packs a lot of flavors and I would definitely recommend it.

Pretty simple but with a nice amount of spice. A nice nose but a limited flavor profile.

The nose has some great fruit and spice. Apple, vanilla, oak, a bit of mint. The flavor profile has great malty and spice notes. Along with burnt apple apple, some leather and spice. There's some dark cherry on the finish as well.

Ginger, apple, lemon, vanilla, ending with some smoke notes. Pretty average.
