Some decent yet faint and vague tropical fruit flavors, Not very complex, but along with those fruits, there’s this off note which is somewhat unfamiliar but seems malty/ a young note. Not excited about it but its ok. This probably would be great if aged more and bottled at cask strength

Astringent garbage. Would not buy for $20 a bottle

I would never buy again. Indistinguishable from elijah craig barrel proof but significantly more expensive

At first, tasted like shit. After months of oxidation actually a really great rich peated dram. Lacks complexity but is a great representation of the ardbeg distillery character

Absolutely putrid. There is an offensive, prominent fishy note, like anchovies, which I’ve never tasted in a dram before. I have 4 other waterford expressions to sample. If this runs through them, I don’t think I can ever drink anything from this distillery again, even if aged 18-21 years. Full on train wreck. It’s like a mediocre speyside with a fish head thrown in.

Disgusting. Tastes like glen garioch and auchentoshan. Like vomit.

Liquorice, spice, faint ashes. Watered down to 40%. Not tasty

Lovely red wine taste characteristics but seems a bit expensive and overhyped
