So, here’s the story. When I started my whisky journey this was the whisky I started on. Still a nice entry level whisky. Can’t do much better for the price. If you’re a rookie, give this a crack. If you’ve enjoyed many a dram, buy a bottle and remember where you started. A LOT better than Glen Moray!

Islay whiskies are my bag, baby. But this makes an awesome change. Delightfully medicinally, the iodine in this is different. Good different. This is a lovely whisky. Won’t find much better in this price range.

The weaker of the Arbeg family in my opinion. Deliciously smooth and peaty, but not as complex as the other Ardbegs. Don’t get me wrong, a great dram, but I won’t be rushing back to buy another bottle. Nothing here to separate it from other whiskeys in the price range.

Show me a better whisky for the price. Love it. A journey in every mouthful. Peaty heaven.
