One of the great Booker’s batches to hit in a long while. Cinnamon and molasses on the nose with a warm and velvety mouthfeel on first pass. Bits of tobacco, moss, and oak mingling with sweet char and welcome cinnamon heat. A blast of burn on the wash that heats all the way down before smoothing out to vanilla be earth tones. A splash of water takes the heat down just a touch and opens up the molasses and vanilla hits a bit more. This is legit Booker’s 🔥

A surprising blast of spice on first taste, preceded by a nice toffee and vanilla nose. That heat washes out a lot of really nice cinnamon and oak, which interestingly returns with a second taste. That second (and every taste after) taste is pure velvet with a touch of plum and mulled spice. Fantastic for the price point.

Fairly absent nose with a nice little punch up front. Caramel and vanilla follow with a tad more heat that gives way to pecan shells, moss, and touch of dryness. Thin finish that interestingly lingers. Served up with a small ice marble that smoothed out the spice over time.

Really enjoy this peaty combo sipper. Smokey nose with a malty, caramel note on first pass. A solid peat bomb with some brown sugar and pine in there. Doesn’t open up too much with water. Just dampers the light burn, so I’d skip the splash.

Clean nose with hits of brown sugar and vanilla. A light buttery taste with a touch of spice. A hard, beef jerky finish. Nice and easy sipper.

Smooth apple cinnamon with a medium finish and a long burn. Easy to sip and more fruity with a splash of water. Which reminds me, we could all use a splash of water these days.

Still trying to get behind this one with a third try. Nice vanilla and butterscotch on the nose with a hint of earthiness. Quick heat on the front end that rolls into a burn coupled with more vanilla, some char, and a touch of oak. Starts off like a sprint to the heat, but ends like a marathon with a long, bitter finish. A splash of water takes that bitter edge off, but thins away the vanilla and spice.

Unbeatable for the price. A $7 pour from a $35 bottle. Apples, cinnamon, and earth open up to more spice and a smooth, medium finish. So. Damn. Good

Full bodied beauty with a surprising little kick. Some cinnamon, char, stone fruit, and light oak. Awesome little sipper sans ice (it’s too damn cold anyway!).

That hot, hot heat! From start to finish, a whole lot of punch with oak, vanilla, and cherry jubilee. Might have picked up a bit of stone fruit crossing the Equator four damn times! Who knows what happens on that imaginary line?!
