Ohio Father’s Day single barrel select program. Look: dark amber/brown. Smell: I don’t get much on this one- the alcohol is evident. Lots of oak but when I sniff any deeper my nose hairs get singed. Taste: hot damn this is good. Cinnamon, oak, tobacco, cocoa. 55% is noticeable but there is relatively little burn. A little bit of water brings out brown sugar/molasses, apples and vanilla. This is a happy medium for me between the barrel proof bourbons and the lower alcohol bottles. Definitely worth the money if you can get it at msrp

Admittedly, one of my favorites- golden in color. Nose smells of sherry and apple. Black tea, nutmeg, cinnamon, tobacco leaves and toffee on the tongue. Finish is long and pleasant with the spice of the rye dominating
