I wanted to like this so much. On the nose, semi-heavy alcohol vapor. On the palette - cough medicine - continued into the finish. Of all the port finished bourbons on the market, this has to rank at the bottom for me.

Syrup on the nose - incredibly sweet smelling. Overall smooth, not a lot of trademark rye flavors. Shorter finish - heavily influenced by the rum casks.
