Great Friday night pour

All the reviews I’ve read mention that this is disappointing compared to the first release but never having tasted the first release I guess I don’t have anything to compare this to. I think the finish on this is fantastic and I really love this pour. It’s not cheap but I’m not disappointed at all.

Sweetness on the nose that translates to the palette. A little rye spice but not too much. Drinks lower than it’s proof. A fantastic dram.

Smokey and rich. Like cooking bacon on a campfire.

Very nice bourbon with sweet flavors. The only drawback is the price.

Doesn’t drink as hot as the proof but it’s perfect over a block of ice. I’ve heard this was supposed to be good and it didn’t disappoint.
