Tastes

Aroma is light malt, lots of vanilla and caramel. Flavor is oaky with an herbal rye kick in the finish. Delicious.

Thanks Ryan! R/bourbon single barrel rye. Nose has lots of rye, French oak, and vanilla extract. Some herbal spiciness there as well. Flavor is beautifully smooth with licorice candy notes, lots of rye, and a hint of horehound. Damn that's a beautiful whisky.

Formula 1362425. Dsp: wa-21083 Bottle 6276. Aromas of sherry, roasted nuts, and perhaps coffee. Firebird is sherry, pecan, and dried apricot. Woody finish.

Oaky and vanilla in the nose. Little burn in the flavor, but just a hint before cherry, oak, and caramel take over. Lovely whisky.

Rich barrel aroma, with berry notes, and a nice toasty smell. Flavor is rich and oaky, with hints of herbal flavors and toasted coconut.

Rye up front on the nose. Rye, caramel, toffee, with a spice finish

Vanilla, fresh baked bread, and caramelized sugar in the aroma. Flavor is oak, vanilla, creme brulee, and dark bread. It's chewy and delicious. A classic whiskey.

Thanks Ryan! Bottle 44. Barrel 5819. Apple, oak, and rye in the nose. Very oaky flavor with black licorice, coconut, and a good amount of heat. This bottle started off unimpressive, but as I continued it really opened up and grew on me.

Raisin, vanilla, and oak in the aroma. Caramel, vanilla, and a touch of corn in the flavor. Tasty.

Peppery up front with notes of caramel. Flavor is spice, pepper, and vanilla.
