Nose: alcohol, sweetness, light shade of sun-dried fruit. Palate: alcohol burn, sweet, a bit oaky. Aftertaste: short, peppery, alcohol burn. Summary: certainly not the worst blend i've tried; pro - no unpleasant scents and flavours; contra - relatively strong alcohol burn, not very easy to drink. 2.2/5 stars (score 67)

Not that bad, as I thought it was. Nose: smoke, cigarette smoke, a shade of sour dough (bad thing, definitely). Taste: pepper, smoke. Aftertaste: short, peppery. Update: two days after bottle was opened (hello, screw cap), smoke mostly disappeared, and shades of sun-dried fruits come on the foreground. No more "sour dough" smell. Taste and aftertaste remains the same. Total: 2.3/5 stars (68 score).

Jack Daniel's Old No. 7
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed March 7, 2017 (edited August 12, 2017)Color: strong green tea. Nose: lacquer, damp wood, chemically fruity (did not managed to identify the exact fruit, but something very familiar), earthy in the background. Broadly, the aroma is quite pleasant, despite the chemical shades. Taste: consistence is somewhat mediocre, slight alcohol burn, nothing new to the flavor, relatively dry. Finish: short, simplified, burns a bit. Overall impression: one can drink this whisky neat, but it's not advisable. Aroma and taste are ideal for mixing with Coca-Cola. In any case, the scent is good, alcohol burn is acceptable. Good drink for a proper price ($20-25 per 0.7 litre). 2.6/5 stars (71 score).
