Tastes

Served in a wide bottom low ball glass, 1 ice cube. On the nose i get plenty of caramel, apple and a touch of smoke from the barrel char. First sip comes with more caramel, apple pie, and a soft, sweet mouthfeel. It is quickly followed by smoke, leather, oak tannins and a lovely savory finish. Fantastic lingering flavor of fruit, herbs, and leather.

Nose has pepper and almost a sharpie or magic marker smell. The pallate has warm spices, apples and nuts. Similar to an apple crisp. The rye spice comes in for a brief moment and is followed by a warm and deep finish.

Orange, peach, oak and corn sweetness. Extremely smooth finish with warm caramel, vanilla, spices.

Nose caramel, raisins, candied fruit. Pallate of sweet, anise, caramel quickly turns to candied fruit, dried berries, sherry, and aperitivo liqueur. You can tatse the port finish in the fruit and berry like taste.
