Springbank 10 Year Old PX Sherry Wood (2022 Edition)
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed May 18, 2023Honestly, there’s not much nose to start. But let it sit and you’ll eventually be rewarded with a puff of peat smoke on the nose as it unwinds into a lovely and sweet, raisiny delight. The palate is equally gorgeous - the mouthfeel is exceptional and the palate has everything from main course to dessert. This is a great pour and I would highly recommend if you have the opportunity -
High West Campfire
Blended American Whiskey — (bottled in) Utah, Multiple Countries
Reviewed May 6, 2023Really solid. That peat combined with boutbon and rye melds into something that has the best elements of each -
This is pretty good. Nose and palate are both a little bit floral, little bit spicy, and some nice fruity notes. Basically, this has all the elements of a good mid-tier scotch but is neither exceptional nor objectionable in any particular area. Would happily drink again but probably won’t ever go out and buy a bottle.

My goodness. The nose greets you with an exotic floral bouquet which, with time, broadens out to the equivalent of strolling through an orange grove in full blossom. In the mouth, it is delicately sweet with fruit and vanilla notes, as well as some oak presence. It absolutely coats the mouth and has a nice, if not too long, finish
