Immediately gives a hit of grape nerds when you nose it, and then gives a sweet profile that’s similar to 1792 Full Proof. Sugary, candy sweetness remains throughout, and the dark fruits linger on the finish. Delightful pour.

This pour has all the classic bourbon flavors you’re looking for in a whiskey - caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, and a whiff of cola. Drinks a little bit hotter than its proof, but lingers and is thoroughly enjoyable. Would definitely recommend if you can find it!

Weirdly, the applewood finish on this mainly makes it taste like sweet and sour cherry pie (the toasted staves even get some buttery crust flavor!). If you’re in the mood for that, this is the perfect pour. If not, it’s good but not great.

There’s a lot of deep sugary notes and candied apricot to start, and then it transitions to sweet bread, root beer candy, and more stone fruit. Definitely recommend.

I didn’t expect this to be so good! Vanilla, brown sugar, caramel, and something approximating a spiced peach jam run through both the nose and the palate. Will need to find a bottle ASAP…

The nose is cinnamon, wisps of biscuit dough, and just a touch of dankness. On the palate, though, everything is bright, creamy, and spicy, with a lovely vanilla note that carries through and a very nice mouthfeel to boot. Imagine a highly alcoholic spice cake with cream cheese frosting that’s been liquified and you’re in the ball park.

The smoke is strong with this one, and the proof is, too. A spiciness blossoms mid-palate and is balanced by a light Sherry sweetness. Overall, this is massively good and extremely pleasant (assuming you like peat)

Honestly, there’s not much nose to start. But let it sit and you’ll eventually be rewarded with a puff of peat smoke on the nose as it unwinds into a lovely and sweet, raisiny delight. The palate is equally gorgeous - the mouthfeel is exceptional and the palate has everything from main course to dessert. This is a great pour and I would highly recommend if you have the opportunity

Unfortunately loses a little bit of the delicacy that made the 10 year really good. Everything else is helped by maturing longer, but the overall experience is ever so slightly lesser for that decreased delicacy
