Springbank 10 Year Old PX Sherry Wood (2022 Edition)
Single Malt — Campbeltown, ScotlandReviewed May 18, 2023Honestly, there’s not much nose to start. But let it sit and you’ll eventually be rewarded with a puff of peat smoke on the nose as it unwinds into a lovely and sweet, raisiny delight. The palate is equally gorgeous - the mouthfeel is exceptional and the palate has everything from main course to dessert. This is a great pour and I would highly recommend if you have the opportunity
Springbank 15 Year
Peated Single Malt — Campbeltown, ScotlandReviewed May 18, 2023Unfortunately loses a little bit of the delicacy that made the 10 year really good. Everything else is helped by maturing longer, but the overall experience is ever so slightly lesser for that decreased delicacy
Springbank 10 Year
Peated Single Malt — Campbeltown, ScotlandReviewed May 18, 2023Very nice, super delicate, especially for a 10 year scotch. The peat is present but perfectly intertwined with the sweet and floral notes.
High West High Country American Single Malt
American Single Malt — Utah, USAReviewed May 6, 2023Not nearly as good as I’d hoped. Its pretty flat, like someone who didn’t like malt tried to make a bourbon using malt. Would recommend people who are interested in American Single Malts look elsewhere
High West Campfire
Blended American Whiskey — (bottled in) Utah, Multiple CountriesReviewed May 6, 2023Really solid. That peat combined with boutbon and rye melds into something that has the best elements of each
High West Rendezvous Rye

Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Peated Blended Malt — ScotlandReviewed April 15, 2023This is pretty good. Nose and palate are both a little bit floral, little bit spicy, and some nice fruity notes. Basically, this has all the elements of a good mid-tier scotch but is neither exceptional nor objectionable in any particular area. Would happily drink again but probably won’t ever go out and buy a bottle.
Compass Box Delos
Blended — ScotlandReviewed March 31, 2023My goodness. The nose greets you with an exotic floral bouquet which, with time, broadens out to the equivalent of strolling through an orange grove in full blossom. In the mouth, it is delicately sweet with fruit and vanilla notes, as well as some oak presence. It absolutely coats the mouth and has a nice, if not too long, finish
Writers' Tears Double Oak
Blended — IrelandReviewed March 11, 2023The nose has a very nice note of perfectly ripe, sweet pear and the palate is dominated by a honey sweetness that gives way to a slightly spicy and woody finish.
