This is a “Hot One”. 110 Proof, so this guy packs a punch. I tried it neat and with a cube, and liked it with the cube better. Opens up the nose and is bursting with Oak Flavor, doesn’t finish with a ton of alcohol flavor. I liked it, not a daily drinker, but great for the nights you need to warm up. Fireside style.

Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 2, 2020 (edited April 7, 2020)This is a hard one for me. Took me a while to find this bottle, so I had high expectations. Overall, not as smooth as I want it to be and leaves me with an unusual aftertaste. Has nice Smokey notes on the finish, but that smoke stays around for a while. Good, not great. -
Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 31, 2020 (edited April 5, 2020)Doesn’t pack a punch on the front end or the finish. Really tasty, and smooth, but doesn’t seem to have the numerous different flavors that I’ve had in other 10 year Bourbons. Overall, I really liked it. -
Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon (2015 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 19, 2020 (edited March 31, 2020)Drinking this room temp nice. Has a full flavor and finishes with a nice oaky taste. With a large cube, it smooths out. For just an 8 year old, I really like it. (For the record, giving anything above a 4 will be tough.42.0 USD per Bottle
