Tastes

An interesting bourbon. From the start of the smell not sure how to describe it other than not all that inviting. The taste is a little strange as well. Again not sure how to describe it. It hangs on your tongue a bit then mellows to a much more pleasant aftertastes. Not one I will likely revisit.

Smooth on the front but warms sharply but not too much then tapers into a mild peat taste. Just a little more peat than I prefer but if I was poured one I would enjoy it. Just not my go to Scotch.

A nice smooth scotch with a hint of peat.

A little more peat than I prefer with a Smokey aftertastes. All that being said it is nice and smooth.

Smooth on the outset with a slight build which mellows nicely. Taste is smooth and not any over powering flavor of oak or caramels but still pleasant.

Smooth on the tongue with a slight build of heat that lingers but does not overpower the experience. Mellow slight vanilla undertone which leaves your mouth watering for the next...😉😏

A little hot up front but it tapers down nicely leaving a district oak flavor with a hint of smoke.

It was suggested to me at the store. Not bad for a 12.95 bottle. Lacks some of the depth you find in some bourbons but interesting none the less. Will keep in the bar but not the first choice.
