Loch Lomond Reserve
Blended — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 22, 2018 (edited January 27, 2018)This bottle is awful. Thought I’d give this one a try since I really enjoyed the Loch Lomond single grain.....nope. Overly peaty with an absolutely nasty unrefined tequila like finish. -
Knappogue Castle 12 Year Bourbon Cask Matured
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed November 10, 2017 (edited September 3, 2018)Fantastic Irish whiskey. Very fruity. Very smooth. I️ guess you would call it mellow and enjoyable. This is perfect neat and just as good with a cube of ice. Can’t go wrong with this one. -
Aberfeldy 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 10, 2017 (edited January 27, 2018)Very nice bottle of scotch for around $35. Caramel, vanilla, fruity with a hint of spice at the end. No problem enjoying this neat. Nice full body and easy to drink. -
Loch Lomond Single Grain
Single Grain — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 10, 2017 (edited November 17, 2019)This is a steal at under $30. Fruity & Sweet like the profile suggests. Tastes like it was finished in Sauternes or dessert wine casks. Easy to drink neat or with a cube of ice.
