Tastes

I love this tequila. To be fair I drink a lot more whiskey than I do tequila, but this bridges the gap easily. Havent tried very many Anejos aged in rye barrels. The aroma is an awesome mix of sweet and spicy rye whiskey with the bright citrus and peppery notes from the tequila. There is an earthiness and nuttiness for sure, and the flavor is constantly evolving as I drink it. Mouthfeel is thick, silky, and smooth and there is almost no burn at all. Dangerous. My favorite way to drink this one is sipping it on the rocks.
