Incredible - an all time favorite. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more port barrel finished Double Rye!'s. Reminds me a lot of the single pour I had of A Midwinter Nights Dram. Easy sipper by the fire. Great - well above aberage.

Excellent - really quite exceptional. Don't regret this purchase one bit. I could nose this one all day long. The finish is the weakest part but that's going to be true for nearly any 90 proof whiskey. Bottled: 6-6-22 Barrel: 5920

If I recall correctly from the guided tasting, this is their high rye mash bill. For being aged in 30 gallon barrels, this is very good - a cut above! This distillery is tucked in the country in a nice area in northwest Ohio. Definitely worth a visit if you're local! Year: ‘22 Batch: 5 Bottle: 31

Sub-par. It's not bad, but better exists. I feel like the proof is way too low for this 8 year old whiskey. This is a just boring sip. And the fact it's gone from $25-30 to nearly $40 over the last couple years is a bit ridiculous. This will almost certainly be my last Evan Williams single barrel.
