Good, just fine. Classic notes of 80 proof Jack but turned up a notch. Enjoyable but a far-cry from what the single barrel barrel proof offers.

Got a blind sample from an acquaintance - spearmint on the nose. Palate full of baking spices. Finish is medium in length - lingers but doesn't overstay its welcome. Reminds me a lot of Smoke Wagon BiB rye. Great - well above average. Selected by Staves and Grain 7 years old 123.0 proof Barrel SG 094

There’s something unpleasant going on with the nose. The palate is a bit better but still lackluster. The unpleasant note I got on the nose translates to the finish. I love to support local but this one isn’t up to par for a $50 bottle. This one is going to end up being a mixer during the summer for some fruit-based cocktails. Poor - wouldn’t consume by choice.

The legs on this one is ridiculous. Just a touch of alcohol on the nose but you wouldn't necessarily anticipate this being 66% abv. Mouthfeel is so full. Finish lingers but doesn't intrude. This one is perfect and will be savored. Warehouse: K Floor: 7 132.0 proof

This is sub-par - not bad, but better exists. I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as the vintage 2012 from last year. Barrel 624 barreled on 10-8-13 and bottled on 5-21-21. Originally reviewed October 22, 2021.
