Peg Leg Porker 12 Year Tennessee Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed June 8, 2019 (edited December 27, 2020)Not very good. Just flat out. This is thin and has a funky flavor profile. Honestly smelled like urine. There are much better whiskeys out there for the money.72.99 USD per Bottle -
Booker's Bourbon Batch 2018-01 Kathleen's Batch
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 18, 2018 (edited June 16, 2018)This is what a bourbon should be. Full bodied, unbeatable nose, and rich and oily. This has tons of baking spice, sweet vanilla, and a touch of oak. This is on the sweeter end of the spectrum and is one of my favorite bourbons on the market right now. If you can find this, buy it! -
Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye (2017 Release)
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 19, 2018 (edited April 26, 2018)To me, this noses better than it tastes. Not necessarily a bad thing, however, as it still tastes fantastic. I paid $99 for this bottle, and at that price, I would probably say it's a bit of a reach. I enjoy the High West offerings at $25+ less in price. -
Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 19, 2018 (edited April 26, 2018)This is a wonderful bourbon, but very difficult to find. At $75 I don't think it's worth the price difference over the small batch, but I would definitely recommend buying it and trying it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
