Very tasty. Love the peat level. Love the salty taste. Up my alley

smokier than I thought it would be and honestly it at first took me by surprise. semi sweet and delicious. this reminds me a bit of oban although I haven't had oban in a while.

I love peat. and I love this. a different style of peat not quite like Islays. it almost has a Campbeltown taste to it like Springbank. adding a little water opens it up too

really nice light summery dram. my only complaint is the 43% almost feels too tame. I think this would be one of my favorites of bottled above 45%. Nice sweet on the nose and immediate sip. Then that campfire that is so great about Islay. the peat is more similar to Lagavulin than Ardbeg or Laphroaig. need to get my hands on the cask strength

Not sure if I have the correct year for this but purchased in 2019. what a fantastic whisky. I feared a strong bite because of its youth but was smooth as can be. light and smokey. it really opened up with some water and the smoke came forward in full force. fantastic value and would buy again

wow....fruity and smoky is exactly how I would describe this one. two of my favorite things in the world. that classic meaty Lagavulin smoke and a subtle sweet that I feel the 16 year gets wrong. I'm 8 > 16 all the way here

strong peat and spicy throughout but not in a Islay way. excellent finish with just a touch of burn. the good burn not the bad
