Hum... not tasting the “experts” 96 rating. Wish it had more spicy and oaky notes and fullness. Smooth, oily and rich, but flavor is just not there.

It’s good, well balanced with rich flavors, not too spicy or sweet. Seriously, buy it;)

Really good bourbon IMO. Similar to Blanton. Slightly sweet and balanced spicy flavors are smooth and easy to sip.

Good sipper. Vanilla is obvious and smooth. Mint and/or methanol favor is interesting and provides an added “spicy” kick. I like this better than Four Roses Single Barrel.

Spicy, slightly burns the tongue. Oaky but not smoky. Small amount of fruit flavor. Sips well

Really enjoyed drinking this bourbon, it’s special, so balanced and rich. Highly recommend you buy as many bottles as you can.

Smoky, spicy, peppery favors are subdued by oily and rich accents that immediately follow and continue thru the long finish. Fullness that comes with higher rye content is impressive. This is a top “available” mid-priced bourbon IMO. And if you like a charred barrel flavor this one delivers. I drink it with Topo Chico and ice.
