Good mixture of the standard Basil Hayden bourbon and what seems like an obvious cabernet wine barrel. Neither overpowers the other with the bourbon up front and the wine notes on the finish

Fantastic Rye! The majority of others, the rye spice has been oaked out by the double barrelling process but this one still leaves plenty to enjoy. As a less expensive bottle, I can see this rye being perfect in an Old Fashioned, but is certainly enjoyable on its own.

Pretty good. A little more char flavor than the usual small batch, I'm sure due to longer aging in the barrel. For the price I think I'd rather go with the standard small batch, but that's just me. I would compare this to more of a Woodford or Woodford Double Oaked, probably somewhere in between.

Absolute favorite Rye. Has a very smooth approach and a slow roll into the spice notes in the finish. Magnificent

Was hoping this would change my personal view on Woodford, but alas, it has not. I understand it is the same mash bill, but I was hoping the second aging would improve the outcome. Oh well, at least it can be a fancy bottle to serve guests

Not great, not terrible. Pretty middle of the road bourbon, may not be worth the price

Super buttery and vanilla. Very good char. Absolutely wonderful flavor profile
