This Kentucky straight bourbon is one of two limited edition whiskeys launched by Diageo in spring 2020 in its new Craftswomen Series--a series which celebrates the women who make the brand's spirits. Blenders' Select No.
001 uses 3 out of 10 bourbon distillates which are used to create Bulleit Bourbon. It is aged at least 9 years in new, charred American oak barrels (char #2 for the heads and char #4 for the rest), the same as its standard bourbon. Bottled at 100 proof. .

Tasting Notes
"The bourbon is a beautiful copper in the glass. On the nose, it offers vanilla, peanuts still in their shells, and cedar chips. The palate is rich and chewy, entering with some heat before showing menthol, cinnamon, nutmeg, leather and kola. Towards the back, there's also a bit of sour cherry along with pepper and rye spice. A lengthy finish leaves you riding a wave of caramel and barrel char."
