Wow I'm actually surprised at these high ratings. A friend and I had this together on new years and (though he's not a big drinker, I am) we both thought it was way too harsh for its price and tasted of... licorice? I love cognac and brandy but why the hell does this taste of licorice? If I wanted that I'd go get some anisette. The hype is unfounded, and the price unjustified. Don't bother.

This stuff is like drinking a green apple, with no trace of harshness to be found. Very nice and not artificial. I personally don't look for flavor in my vodka, as I do my dark liquors. So this is perfect.

Anyone here that enjoys the super neutral flavor of this vodka, please, unless you're trying to show off because people rap about it, go buy Russian Standard Platinum. It's almost half the price and just as good. Take it from a career alcoholic. Don't get me wrong, it's like drinking water. But the aforementioned is just as smooth and way cheaper. Thank me later.

I'm no conosieur, but the price of this vodka could be almost doubled and I'd still buy it. It's super smooth and if you're an occasional drinker that can't handle rough liquor, I highly recommend it. It's as smooth as sake that has less than half the alcohol content.

I'm loathe to give such a high rating for this when the only other cognac I've ever tried was Hennessey. But all I know is that it was leagues better than Hennessey, and much more to my taste. The fact it's made with dry champagne is very clear. I'm not a wine drinker but I do enjoy the flavor of dry champagnes. So to have this blended with dark barrel aged liquor is pure bliss.

Tastes nothing like Brandy. More like jet fuel. I guess you can do alot worse for what it costs, but I'd upgrade to E&J for just a few more bucks if you want to taste what brandy actually tastes like.

Very smooth for its price. Good entry level brandy for people watching their spending. The flavor of vanilla cream is very prominent, and it's always a joy to have a bottle of this.
