Very strong floral and vanilla tones on the nose with a subtle hint of dried apricots. Slightly oily texture on the palate with an explosion of Creme Brulee and orange peel-Marmalade. A slight hint of spearmint at the end. A pleasantly surprising drawn out finish escalating the creamy vanilla, sweet custard with a dash of spicy cinnamon to finish. An amazing dram. One of my all time favourites.

Gifted as a K.K present - thanks again! Nose: Strong briney salt and smoke with subtle hints of hard-boiled lemon candy and vanilla. A little peppery at the end. Palate: The smoke and peat intensifies. The sweetness of the vanilla progresses to more of a buttery Wether's Original lolly. Finish: Long but subtle - not a peat punch in the face but a sweet toffee-esque heartwarming after taste. An easy drinker.

Hellyers Road Single Malt Pinot Noir Finish
Single Malt — Tasmania, Australia
Reviewed December 14, 2019Zesty lemon and orange on the nose. Progresses rapidly to a crescendo of intense fruity sweetness with supporting spices. A more dark berry end to the palate with that strong red wine finish. Might just eclipse the Starward Nova re: wine cask finish.
