Solid, would recommend, buy, and feel confident gifting to most. Color - brown, deep wood Nose - brown sugar, wood spice, toasted vanilla Palate - cinnamon spice, oak, baked sugar, more chocolate comes out with air Finish - warm, dry wood Makes me feel like I’m sitting in a cabin by the fire while snow falls outside

The Islay for many Color - amber Nose - peat, earthy grains, vanilla, subtle fruit Palate - lots of peat, smoke, salted meat Finish - smoke, salt Just fantastic, nuanced and complex, you won’t get to know this whiskey in one or two glasses. Probably needs more experiments, in fact, I better go conduct one now and so should you

I actually did not care for this one too much Color - deep amber, full bodied Nose - vanilla, some caramel, kind of herbal? Palate - oak, spice, definitely herbal or medicinal Finish - medicinal, dry, wood But then- I dropped an ice cube in: much more sweetness and vanilla, definitely turned my initial opinion around

Pleasant and affordable but without surprises. Color - light amber Nose - fruit forward (pear, orange), light peat, hint of caramel hiding Palate - buttery with smoke, some earthy tones Finish - faint smoke, lingering of chocolate, a little oily leather on the tail end. Personally I found water brought more of the Islay character (peat, moss, earth) and neat showcased more of a speyside (fruit, chocolate)

Completely unique- a love of peated whiskey does not translate here. Color - like looking into a polished saddle Nose - vanilla and molasses with a fair amount of smoke Palate - hits hard with smoke and fullness, chili peppers and more molasses or sugar Finish - starts with tobacco and leather both of which start to fade leaving behind campfire smoke and a touch of mint All in all it’s like the old west in a glass.55.0 USD per Bottle
