Color: light amber Nose: Vanilla and oak Palate: medium bodied, smoke and malt. Slightly floral Finish: Fruity with a little smoke. Smooth on the swallow.

Color: Bright copper Nose: Vanilla, floral, plum Body: Malt forward, almost like a milk stout. Strong vanilla and sherry. Finish: sherry finishes strong and smooth. Stone fruit crops up a little on the swallow.

Part of the Infinity Barrel Benefit Project. Bottles were blended from retailer buy-backs during the COVID-19 pandemic and blended into a new select product. Color: deep copper Nose: port and apricots with notes of vanilla cream Palate: I let it rest in the glass for about 10 minutes. Smooth bodied with a notes of chocolate and plum. Rye is subtle in this one, coming through more in the back with the warmth in the swallow. Finish: The rye carries through. Overall: Really good. I’m a big fan of Catoctin Creek’s line in general and this is no different. My wife is not a fan of rye or whiskey in general because of the burn from most, but this was mellow enough to make her a fan.

Cinnamon and spice in the nose. Caramel and vanilla in the body. Slight cereal grain, but very dessert like overall

Let it rest 15 minutes based on comments here. Ethanol in the nose died down significantly to reveal smoky caramel and oak. Palate is complex and deep. Notes of spice, char, caramel, and vanilla dance with stone fruits and mild sherry. Finish is long and pleasant. This drinks like it needs to be enjoyed in a smoky speakeasy with smooth jazz and a nice maduro cigar.

Citrus and cocoa on the nose. Warm and spicy mouthfeel and lingering rich chocolate and spice on the finish. Worth every penny.
