Tastes

Bought this because I wanted to start trying scotch and I’m a bourbon drinker and it’s was recommended as appealing as such. It is appealing, I had a real peaty, Smokey scotch a while back and it turned me off scotch. This scotch is smooth, very little peat or smoke, slightly fruity, apples, a little orange. Easy to sip near or with a big ice cube.

Ok it’s not Irish whisky but liquor. Bought it without reading the label. It’s pretty sweet, notes is licorice, honey and peat. I enjoyed it with a little ice. Not satisfying as a slow sip whiskey, but I did enjoy it

I’m not going to add any “it taste like pop corn and Carmel” comments, it’s smoother than Jim Beam regular, and not too expensive, I enjoyed it with a splash of water and ice.
