Tastes

Nose has a creamy raisin almost rice pudding quality. The body is smooth, warm with vanilla and caramel notes. Finishes delicate and soft with clean but lingering flavors on the tounge. Very nice overall.

Nose brings me to a field of heather and flowers, fresh cut wood after a rain storm. The body is full and rich with creamy caramels. Finish is a hot flash of tart licorice and spicy pepper. Why would anyone put this in a cocktail instead of drinking it neat?

First Rye. Actually drank it all and forgot to rate it. I wouldn't turn it away but it is not going to be my first choice after having tasted a few others.

Nose was pepper spice and cinnamon. Body tasted like a cinnamon cream with a tart berry. Slight woody notes of birch and willow. Short finish of pepper and spice. Not my bad but I am new to Rye.

Solid Scotch. My first love for whiskey so a bit partial. Nose is floral, sweet and lightly smokey. Apples and wood on the mouth. Warm but no bite to the short finish. Was so excited when I finally caught the feint pear note on the nose.
