Tastes

On the nose I get vanilla with the orange coming in from the background. On the palate, I get oak notes with some sweetness and the orange comes on nice in the finish.

Sweet and some fruit with some spice that lasts.

Yeah... well.., had this when I had Covid-19. Taste may have been a bit off. Wife got this for me out of pity at Costco as she thought it was Bourbon because “it was in the Bourbon section!” Bless her heart. It was OK. Some fruity notes from what I could taste. Got the job done...

Got a 1.75 as a mixer over the Corona Virus Stay at Home Order. On the nose, I smell a sour yeasty aroma. Feel on the palate is light with alcohol a very slight vanilla oak. Finish has some spice and I get a hair of licorice. Made an Old Fashioned with it. Ok as a mixer.

I get vanilla and some butterscotch on the nose. Butterscotch stays on the palate initially but fades quick to spice that lasts.

Maybe some vanilla on the nose with a “typical” inexpensive Canadian Whiskey taste. I’m not much of a Canadian Whiskey fan except for Crown. Just, for me, not my bag. Not a whole lot going on with this. Meh....

Nice campfire smoke on the nose. Mouth feel is soft. On the palate is less smoke with some honey. I also got a little spicy green pepper. Smoke hangs around on the finish with a little dark chocolate.

Could be great as a cordial or on top of dessert. Definitely peanut butter. Also reminds me of hot buttered movie popcorn. Very sweet with a little spice. Wife doesn’t like whiskey, but she loves this... of course

On the nose I get some maltiness and grain with a little fruit and vanilla in the background. Feel is soft on the palate. I do get some honey and mild orange with the orange jam taste coming up a bit more in the finish.
