I never really understood the hype around it while the bottle lasted. Surely it is ok, but Ardbeg’s lineup together with Laphroaig 10 is better. It is pretty peaty and turfy, a bit sour. Not too strong.

Sweet lemon, some herbs very subtly peaty. Very solid drink, always happy to have.

Very sweet nose, think figs and such. The taste is same sweetness together with surprising amount of alcohol for a 12yo. Overall good dram if a bit not smooth compared to expectations. It is definitely overpriced due to the supply shortage, the flavour is not as special or complex as you would expect for a hundred quid bottle.

Strong fig and sultana nose, followed by sweet and even slightly smoky taste.

Very round and sweet, with firm stiffness in the end. Easy to drink, nothing too complicated or over the top.

Very sweet and smoky nose, rich and strong taste with peat, some floral bits and fire, fire, fire. Very enjoyable

Fristratingly bad, pure alcohol burn with terrible taste. No nose whatsoever. Never again

Quite light for that strength, very sweat and somewhat floral. Fits well with dinner.

Very light drink. Nose catches cake and honey, which turns slightly orangy and herbal in taste. Nothing special
