Neat - the first thing I got is an “apple” spice and I love it! Get that even on the nose. A perfect amount of sweetness and burn without being too much. Very well done! I don’t even wanna put it on ice.

Had more this time and definitely disagree with my last one. Neat - very light at first. Oak heavy. Zero burn. Taste dies down instantly. Second taste has a tiny bit of sweetness but not enough to really notice. Doesn’t need ice at all. Chuggable. Nothing really distinct.

Maybe I’m unsophisticated but this tastes like cologne just like it looks from the bottle. I tried it neat, on ice and drunk and nothing could make this good. This will be the bottle I give to friends to make them feel like they’re getting something special as I’m trying to get rid of it.

Definitely a rye spice but has a great bourbon sweetness that is enjoyable. Drinks like 114 proof but doesn’t linger. I’ll rate this different down the road but very solid.

With caramel - on the nose, 5 all day. Smells like straight apple and Carmel. It’s really impressive. Neat is a different story. Very proofed on taste and you don’t get apple till aftertaste. On ice worse. Adds oaky flavors that aren’t enjoyable. So complex as all GT are.

Very complex and different but interesting. First sip had a lot of oak/leather notes but the second larger sip had a lot of spices mixed in. Definitely need more than a sample to truly get this one

Has a good underlying sweetness to it but this may be the most ryeish rye ive ever had. So much spice, it almost hurts to drink.

Definitely a medium toasted but I enjoy it. Some brown sugar with still a little Kentucky hug. A little more oaky than I remember. That brown sugar brings some sweetness. Very well balanced and I’m going to be sad when this bottle is done since I can’t get it again.

The rye is definitely present but very light. A lot sweeter and vanilla than I thought but that’s a good thing. Spices are a great mix into this. Very very good for its price and I get the hype.

I agree with the last rating but to add, sweetness in the forefront followed by alot of leather/oak ending with a tiny bit of heat. Its good, not great.
