Tastes

Brown sugar and dark fruits on the nose. Caramel, cherry, vanilla, strong oak, and spice on the palate. Graham cracker, cherry, and black tea on the finish along with some barrel char. There is some definite heat but not as hot as you would expect.

Good experiment! I can taste and smell the stout impact. Chocolatey and more creamy than the regular Jameson. However after tasting this, I prefer the standard whiskey to this. The stout cask has more metallic notes and less of the malt flavor I like.

Light but complex. Nose: Honey, heather, sherry, hint of smoke, maybe some lemon. Taste: I taste agave syrup, grass, honey, heather, vanilla, malt. Finish: A nice subtle, smoky finish with heathery honey.

Bananas, cherry, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon. So good!

I’m surprised how good this is compared to how little it costs! Sweet maple and brown sugar with a touch of spice. A little cherry cough syrup. Not a strong finish but it lingers. It leaves me with the desire for another sip.
