Opened bottle purchased 2007, citrus rich subtle peat lemon cream ,spicy finish , smoke and peat reappear, iconic , the flagship bottling over the 10.

This is only a slight step up from Alberta Premium , the caramel is overpowering , this do not compare to Alberta Premium CS, Crown Northern Harvest Rye , Lot 40, Riefel Rye etc . Drinkable at best . The best part of this whisky is the glass cut bottle.

Perfect as a mixer in an old fashioned

If you have the opportunity to buy , dont hesitate , a truly remarkable dram.

Sweet Syrup Manufactured, This is a whiskey that wont impress enthusiasts, it will impress those who like to kick back in the shed on a winters night , i believed the hype , I was wrong , its cheap in price and quality , Alberta Premium Cask Strength is quality , this is lacking.

Leather , baking spice , pears , lemon zest , dark fruits, a lovely irish pot still
