Tastes

Very light oak on the nose. Not high ABV. Doesnt blow out your nostrils. On flavor its bright. You get that peatiness but its not overwhelming. This is far from my preferred region/style, BUT if you are looking for a gateway Islay scotch, this is your label. With a small rock its easy to enjoy. Much less permanent marker and just mild peat flavors. Medium charcoal finish

Pours a light amber color. Just a tad spicy. Smells sweet and has a sweetness to it as well. Cherry vanilla.l mostly. Has a velvety finish.

Get cherry from this. Almost like maraschino. Very light in mouth feel. It's like entry level whiskey, and of course, it's blended. Meant to be accessible.

Definitely get some grape. Bottle notes are pretty accurate. Vanilla and nut. Very smooth. Just enough oak flavor.

Woodsy and maybe caramel on the nose (neat). After first taste I get vanilla. Strong. Hits strong at first, then goes away (smooth) then you feel it a bit deep in your chest (neat not on ice). Not bad or burning, just slightly more than warm. Back end is a bit like caramel, almost like a Werther's original (at least on a block of ice).

Cherry on the nose. Very smooth, especially after an ice cube (large single). Some oak but mostly cherry flavor is what you get. Almost like a strong brandy.

Nice entry level highland. It has notes of vanilla and oak. Smooth though maybe needs a bit more aging.

Sweet and tasty. Not very alcoholy

Smells musty/ mossy. Has a sweet flavor. Clean finish. With a rock it becomes even smoother and cleaner.

Vanilla and caramel. Super smooth. No burn.
