Glenmorangie The Original 10 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed July 9, 2017 (edited October 13, 2017)Vanilla and touch of citrus on the nose. Honey and malted cereal on the palate. Given the unpleasant burn, the finish is thankfully short. Makes a great aftershave. -
Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed July 9, 2017 (edited August 2, 2017)Hints of vanilla and caramel on the nose. Apples, honey and touch of dried raisins on the palate. The finish is gently spiced and of medium length. Pleasant drink, but lacks complexity for me. -

Springbank 18 Year
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed July 6, 2017 (edited February 18, 2019)Light peat, berries and honey on the nose. Green apples, bananas, and semi-sweet chocolate on the palate. The finish is smooth, spicy and of medium length. So many different elements shine through, yet all in perfect harmony. I simply love this expression. -
Springbank 15 Year
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed July 6, 2017 (edited August 2, 2017)Light peat, leather, fresh cut grass and some honey on the nose. Silky combination of lightly salted almonds, dried raisins and cocoa nibs on the palate. The finish is fairly long and delicious. Wonderfully balanced whisky.
