Honey, vanilla and toasted cereal on the nose. Full-bodied and creamy mouthful, yet gentle and balanced in its citrus flavour and hint of berries on the palate. Warm, gently spicied and strikingly long finish compared to most Lowland whiskys I have tried. Delicious.

Light, floral and hint of vanilla on the nose. Mostly citrus and a bit of toffee over the palate. The finish is of medium length, and slightly oaky. Lacking in complexity, but balanced and easy-drinking nonetheless.

Dried fruit (raisins and figs) and hint of vanilla on the nose. Fruitcake sweetness and touch of spice on the palate. The finish is sweet and relatively short. Enjoyable overall, especially for brandy drinkers dabbling into the world of whisky.

Bottled at 57% ABV, this whisky is bold and full-bodied, so I added a few drops of water to my dram. Lightly peated, with some olive brine on the nose. Oily mouthful, with a hint of toffee sweetness and touch of sea salt. Warm and peppery long finish. Compared to the classic Talisker 10, this expression is spicier, but less smoky. Very good and worth trying.

Vanilla and faint notes of dried fruit on the nose. Toffee, honey and nutty palate. Cinnamon spice for a medium-length finish. It's not the most complex whisky out there, but still an enjoyable dram.

Light oak and faint notes of malted cereal on the nose. Palate is fairly robust, however, with a bold (yet uncomplicated) combination of orchard fruit, honey and vanilla. The finish is smooth, fruity and of medium-length. Tasty and easy-drinking. I'm quite impressed.

Oak, vanilla, and figs on the nose. The mouthful is thin, with a light taste of dried raisins on the palate. The finish is unforgivably weak. This whisky gets 3 stars because it tastes ok, but overall, it is a pretty bland dram.

Sweet vanilla beans and floral notes on the nose, caramel and hint of licorice on the palate, and medium-length peppery finish. Not great, but not bad either.

Oak and ethanol on the nose. Caramel, cherries and some sweetness on the palate, but kind of bitter on the finish. I can't appreciate this whiskey, even after watering it down to about 40% ABV.

Fair amount of peat, leather and pipe tobacco on the nose. The mouthful is full-bodied, featuring a delicious blend of honey, berries and sherry on the palate. The finish is long, sweet and smoky. Simply fantastic! This is a must-try, especially for Islay whisky lovers.
