Pleasant caramel, vanilla, and oak on the nose, followed by some sweet cherries and clove spice on the palate. The finish is light, oaky and tasty. Nicely balanced overall and definitely worth a try.

Chocolate milk with a faint touch of correctional fluid on the nose. Malted cereal, cantaloupe and oak spice on the palate. Short peppery finish. Not bad.

Bright orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and oak on the nose. Creamy mouthful, with cooked apples, malt and sherry over the palate. The finish is smooth and fairly long. A really enjoyable dram.

Fair amount of peat, honey and gentle trace of brine on the nose. The mouthful is robust yet balanced with oak spice, smoke and a hint of grapefruit rind on the palate. The finish is long, spicy and slightly rubbery. I'm quite impressed by this whisky.

The nose is floral, but somewhat sulphury. The palate has a sweet citrus note, some malted cereal, followed by a touch of aniseed on the finish. Unfortunately, the off-key notes on the nose ruined it for me. Disappointed.

Lightly peated with honey and faint notes of bubble gum on the nose. Delicate combination on tropical fruit (papaya) and smoke on the palate. Oak spice lends to a smooth finish, but it is relatively short. Overall, I would say that this is easy to drink, but also easy to forget on the shelf.

Lightly peated, with cooked fruit and pipe tobacco notes on the nose. Sweet, smoky and slightly herbaceous notes on the palate despite a weak mouthful. Fairly long and spicy finish. Overall a balanced whisky, but not a remarkable one for me.

Orchard fruit, light smoke and some floral notes on the nose, followed by honey and citrus on the palate. Short and slightly bitter malt finish. Not bad, but not great.

Considerably peated on the nose, yet counterbalanced with vanilla and fresh berries on the palate. Gentle oak spice and warm peppermint finish. Suprisingly, the variety and contrast of the flavours of this dram come together quite nicely.

Wow! Almonds and caramel on the nose, followed by a host of tropical fruit and malted cereal on the palate. The finish is long, smooth, and magically delicious. For me, this stuff is pure wizardry and deserves at least 6 stars. This is arguably one of the best whiskys I've ever had.
