    Honey and toasted malt on the nose, and a combination of both fresh and dried fruits on the palate. On the finish, I am left with faint smoke, gentle spice and lightly sherried oak. So many subtle notes here, no thanks to a minimally proofed 40% ABV bottling. Pity.

    A burst of citrus, oak and faint notes of honey. What it lacks in complexity is compensated in terms of balance and flavour. Tasty stuff.

    Baked apples, toasty malt and honey. A few drops of water really brings out the vanilla notes and tames down the otherwise slight burn at the finish.

    Lightly peated compared to its 12 year counterpart, yet the flavours come together nicely into a smooth combination of dried plums, light citrus and gentle smoke. Fairly full-bodied for a 43% ABV bottling.

    What I can only describe as toffee squares with sprinkles of sea salt, and gentle sweet peat smoke. Smooth and creamy finish. A nectar of the Norse gods.

    Light smoke and honey on the nose, salted cooked pears and drop of lemon on the palate. It's got a fair amount of peat, but doesn't overwhelm. A fairly long finish. Another Islay classic that won't last very long on the shelf.
