Received a bottle for Christmas last year. Rye spice like pike creek a nice blend harmonious not the best or worst I’ve had a semi affordable sipping whiskey but like something like even $25 Gibson’s 12 more :) or pike creek port barrel finish or rum finish better had a burn

Really wanted to try this whiskey based on rum howlers review and saw a small 375 ml bottle for $29 at a B.C. private store. I didn’t like it as much as he did, but by no means does it deserve the 1 star review you see here it is an easy 3 to 3.75. Based on nose it is wonderful vanilla, buttery sweet and mild corn. Taste is vanilla creamy smooth with an little medicinal after taste which is why it loses its points for me I would compare this to a smooth subtle Irish whiskey like experience it isn’t punch in the face flavour. It’s smooth and subtle with a lot going on in the softness there definitely worth trying especially if you can get the beautiful 375ml bottle! No really risk at $29 and you can say you had a 21 year old whiskey :)

Rich Spicey rye peppery vanilla cremebrulle a lot going on oily flavour sticks with you for ages best Canadian I’ve had hands down

I’ll start by saying I love port and port influenced whiskey! This is an excellent balance of port and whiskey sweet and chocolatey almost dessert like but a rye finish balances it out. Smells amazing!! I Like Quinta Ruban from glennorangie more at 4.5 and signet at 5 of that helps as reference and at that price of 79 that’s almost Quinta Ruban and at $70 the Wisers 18 destroys it so should be like a $50-60 dollar bottle but is unique enough to try and has a cool back story!
