This one shocked me how good it was! Nutty and sweet that holds its flavor for the stretch. Finish went on forever as well!

Man, the nose! This one has one of the best first sniffs I’ve ever had… Picked up at Total Wine on a recommendation. First sip was not a perfect match for the nosing but still outstanding. Really enjoyed this one.

Nice pour. Tried something new after a quick tasting at lical Too 10 Liquor. An average bourbon enhanced with a subtle hint of stout on the back palate. Nice sipper

This one surprised me from the first sip. Love most Wild Turkey offerings but this went to the top! So wonderfully balanced and flavorful. Long caramel lingers on the back end and nice hug to top it all off. Top 5 for me!

From the first sip of this one, i knew it was for me. Top 5 on my shelf. Prohibition style is a classic. Starts out sweet and fruity then the banana makes an appearance and make this a special ride. Long vanilla hug to end it all…

Got this as a store pick at my local liquor store. Beautiful nose and a great sipper. The higher proof may not be for everyone but the pallet is so good on this one. Long finish and creamy mouthfeel make this a winner in my book!

My first bou-rye… Love this one! Heard some good things about Redwood Empire and they were all spot on. This a solid pour at a solid price ($39). Will always have a place on my shelf.

This lower proof version of WT is a solid winner for $35. If you have one whiskey to start with, this is a great one. For someone new to bourbon this is a great benchmark. Great mouthfeel and a nice blast of flavors leaves you wanting more. Not as long a finish as I’d like but such a bargain for a traditional poor.

Have to admit, the first time I had this I wasn’t sure it was my thing. Glad i went in for a second! Rich, sweet and smoky… like having a smore in a glass. So many wonderful things going on as you sip this one. Haven’t been the biggest Woodford fan overall but this one is delicious. If the proof was a bit higher it would be a home run… still a VERY solid pour!

Love this stuff! Went right to the top if my list immediately. For the price ($60) it’s hard to beat. Smacks you upfront with a flavor rush and lingers with a long, vanilla finish. Another top 5 whiskey for me. Will always have this this one right next to the bottle of Rare Breed…
