I’m not sure what I expected but not something drinkable. My bad

A little spicy, not too sweet. Not bad for the price.

Golden raisins and orange on the nose, maybe a bit of brown sugar, dig it. Taste is more orange but a bit harsh. Finish isn’t as full or rounded as other dark sherry/port cast single malts. Not worth buying.

Sweet but not overly so, getting brown sugar and vanilla on the back. Limited nose. I’d rate higher if there was more there.

Cool bottle, but they need it to attract buyers for a poor whiskey. It’s like candy … that I never want to try again.

Classic scotch. Good oak and citrus flavors. A tad sweet on the finish but it works. It kind of reminds me of chocolate covered orange peel at Christmas. Worth the price of admission.

Overpowering. I tired to temper with ice and even then limited flavor. Not near worth the price or the time.

Rich honey comb on the nose which continues upon first taste but quickly rolls into grassy and harsh, maybe even turpentine flavor. Can’t recommend straight, on ice, or in cocktails, and I’ve tried them all. I wanted to like this more but just don’t.

OK. Just like any run of mill Irish whisky. This is unique in that they are playing up the name and the bottle, but I do love the bottle, one of my favorites ever.
