Tastes

Nose: honey and corn Palate: a little burn, sweet corn, more honey on back end.

Note: sweet with some burn in the nostrils Palate; definitely get the sweetness of the port barrels -pepper notes - smooth

Nose: Vanilla - Spice and slight Acetone Palate: Oak, leather, slight vanilla - burns a little but fades quickly

Nose: Isopropyl Alcohol and sherry Palate: oak, vanilla back end sweetness of the sherry. A little burn.

Note: chocolate covered cherries Palate: starts with earthy notes and opens up to cinnamon / almost like an apple crumble - 2nd pour from bottle - the first was super hot but this one mellowed a little. Was hoping more from this across the board....

Nose: Vanilla/Honey - slight ethanol Palate: Starts off a tad hot, but doesn’t last - peppery, caramel, cinnamon

Nose: Peach and light vanilla Palate: sight ethanol, pepper, and very light vanilla...goes to brown sugar and cinnamon but fades pretty fast / does not have not a lot of burn Edit: toward the end of my pour - added a couple drops of water & and it opened up with honey notes

Nose: sweet vanilla Palate: starts off with a heavy rye flavor - a little burn and then ends with a nice caramel back end.

Nose: Butterscotch and light vanilla Palate: Ethanol, Nutty, Raisin/Prunes, caramel popcorn Fades off fast.....

Nose: Sweet Corn A bit hot at first - but does have a nice corn on the cob flavor...sweet, a tad Smoky, and a little nutty. This bourbon gets a bad rap, but it’s not terrible. Is it the best bottle I have? No. Is it the worst bottle I have? No. Would I buy it again? Not 100% sure. Could be a good mixer for an Old fashioned!
