Spearmint

Vanilla and wood, some neat thing on the nose but very subtle, classic but on taste with big oak and vanilla notes

Sherry cask on the nose, sweet honey Buttery maple, ginger shortbread kinda appley finish Smooth lacking finish Good every day for the price point.

Big bold smoke, but Xmas spice? And sweet kinda like wine mulled over a peat fire. Full and sweet, vanilla smoke and oak, great barrel spice Long finish dark fruitiness Really good, but not to sure of the hype

So much oak, maple, spice and char, a little hot smelling but didn’t follow in palette Palette gave me shivers, spice both barrel and rye hit hard. vanilla, red fruit sugars oak and char Finished with choke cherry dry and sweet.

Very different, first Irish that didn’t come off the bottom shelf. Fruity on the noise kind of hot but not unbearable. Citrusy with green notes, kinda like a mandarin orange with the leaves still on at Christmas, slightly floral like walking near a patch of daises still in the ground. Full and sweet on the palate very butterscotch with buckwheat honey and peppercorn. Finish is spicy and tart, bitter almond extract.

Sweet nose with green fruit and very full rich mouth feel. Barrel spice? I think. Taste of milk chocolate but with a bit of water chocolate turns to delightful Carmel. What you desire when I think of a highland scotch.

Very light nose had trouble smelling anything at first. Sweet very sweet, like a spoonful of honey with a lingering spice. Rice-pudding kinda taste and feel sweet spiced with dried fruit. And a coating mouth feel that is thick but not heavy

Lacking in nose compared to other islays but very rich middle with floral rose water I think

Heavy peat and smoke light finish
