Tastes

Nose is oaky with lots of vanilla. The palate is oak with cinnamon and sugar and of course vanilla. The finish is medium-long with baking spice. A very nice bourbon that is very well balanced. I’m really enjoying it.

This is so amazing!! Haters will say this isn’t worth the money, but I totally disagree. This whiskey hugs you like a sweet grandma that smells of vanilla cookies and leather. It tastes of oak, and vanilla, with a slight dark fruit and oily finish that lingers.

I love this stuff. It reminds me a lot of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. It has that same sweet taste that I really enjoy in a bourbon.

So delicious!! Floral, spice, and vanilla on the nose. Rye spice, apples on the palate. And a nice long spicy finish.

This is very tasty!! Doesn’t taste as high proof as it is. I get vanilla on the nose. The palate does have some heat on it, with a finish caramel.

This whiskey isn’t horrible. But for the price I could give you plenty of name drops that are way better. On the nose I get a lot of oats. The palate is dry oatmeal with a finish of sweet wine. When I first opened it I was very disappointed. But after a couple of weeks it did get a little better. I would not buy this again.

This is a very good bourbon. However, as far as port finish goes, I enjoy the Isaac Bowman more. That’s not a popular opinion but it is mine. On the nose I get some banana and cherry. On the palate is sweet corn, with a finish of port and something sweet.

Smokey like its namesake, it’s good but not for the price. Lots of flavor though.
