Pretty good peat for an Oregon whiskey. However, at $60/bottle, it's far outshone by actual Islay Scotch in the same price range. No real reason to buy it again - it was mostly just a novelty purchase.

Ah, my first love. Introduced me to the joy that is Islay single malt. Rated 5 stars because it's the best I've had so far and I'm grading on a curve. Salty peaty goodness, campfire smoke that almost makes your eyes water, and a soul that makes someone who's never set foot on Scottish soil long for home.

Somewhat boring and one dimensional, but it's a cheap Scotch I'm comfortable with putting in mixed drinks so I don't waste my good stuff. Mostly I like it because it's less sweet than bourbon and cheaper than rye.

Not good. Weird, artificial taste that can't quite be placed. Imitation maple syrup, maybe? Cloyingly sweet, it overwhelms anything I've put it in. Not even coke or ginger ale can redeem this stuff. There are much better $10 Canadian bottles out there.

It's a $10 bottle of Scotch and it tastes like it. If you don't mind $10 Scotch, it's fine.

Consistent, cheap bourbon. Bit on the sweet side, possibly too sweet in a sugared drink like coke or ginger ale, but good in a mixed drink with a little more going on. Waters down quickly with ice, so I tend to drink it with a smaller cube.

Not a bad Canadian for the price. There are probably others in the $10 range that are better, but this was serviceable. Slightly sour, little bit of a alcoholic burn that softens with ice or in a mixed drink.

Super strong smoky taste, almost like liquid smoke flavoring. If what you're craving is smoke alone, it's not terrible.

Has a smoky taste that's bizarre and unexpected for a bourbon. Ultimately it's a bit of a novelty for the price, but worth trying. Mixes well with soda.

The best peat I've found in an affordable blended Scotch. Needs a bit of opening up but gets very smooth with some water or a chunk of ice.
