This was really tasty and a big step up in flavor and depth over the regular giant. Highly recommended and a great value when you can find it.

Delicious. Liked it better than the last voyage release. I personally like the Rye version more than the bourbon. The sharpen notes allowed to stand out versus the extra aging and still has a thicker mouth feel. Light nose. 

Delicious. I was looking for something with more body and a thicker mouth feel after drinking, typical American bourbons. I researched all the different patches from north, and this align with what I was looking for. It did not disappoint. Thick and viscous, almost like a maple syrup. Opens up with a couple. Small ice cubes. I bought a second bottle as a back up after I finish the first one. 

Bought this during overseas travel. Its good but more of a scotch whiskey due to the light peat and smoke favor. Its a nice drinker if thats your prifike. Im more rye then bourbon so marked it diwn based on my taste. This is very similar to the Balvenie American cask. 

I was very pleasantly surprised by this. It was on the pricey side, but finally found it on sale. Close out at a big box store. I’m super happy I picked it up. It’s a fantastic, well rounded rye and a Goldilocks daily drinker since I bought it. 

Bought this after watching lots of video reviews. Appealed to my taste profile. Its a solid rye but not worth the shelf price. There are plenty of sub $80 bottles that have more character. The 8 year age does add some depth to the after taste and mellows it which takes away the traditional rye spice notes.

I second what user “Fafnir187” said: Palate matches the nose with a traditional palate of vanilla, caramel, oak, leather, tobacco, and spice. Everything blends well, but the overall flavor is on the simplistic side and has a younger harsher taste inwould have expected to mellow more dor 8 years of age. Medium length finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied. Drying effect has you wanting another sip.

Bought in Taiwan. Not as good as the x bourbon cask but better than the others tried. It tastes young to me and I wish it had a deeper, less harsh noise and initial taste that comes with more aging. Lasting aftertaste is pleasant

New ridf continues to be my favorite new release bottle. Anytime I see something new I grab it and tbis malted rye did not disappoint. Deeper in body than their usual rye and a rich sharp aftertaste lingers. Strong carmel smell after opening with a couple ice cubes.

Got this as a gift. Initial tasting when new was not my favorite. However, after being open for a couple months, it’s really grown on me. Has a peppery spice on the initial taste and a lasting light oakiness.
