Sample sized, neat in whiskey glass. Nose: peat. Salt. Pallet: peat. Salt. Sweet. Pepper. Finish: peat and pepper. It goes medium long and makes me want more.this melts right on the tongue. This is everything i like about an Islay. Worth 80 bucks all day but since its 95 per bottle, I'll avoid stocking this. Id probably give it 7.4 on t8ke scale. 1 | Disgusting | So bad I poured it out. 2 | Poor | I wouldn’t consume by choice. 3 | Bad | Multiple flaws. 4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but many things I’d rather have. 5 | Good | Good, just fine. 6 | Very Good | A cut above. 7 | Great | Well above average 8 | Excellent | Really quite exceptional. 9 | Incredible | An all time favorite 10 | Perfect | Perfect

Whiskey Glass Nose: A smooth nutty peat mixed with alcohol. Palate: smooth sweet peaty goodness. Subtle fruitiness that starts off like berry but then..... tastes citrussy. Finish: long and sweet. A little nutty as the finish goes on. Time for another sip.... Im hesitant to grade this 5 star but i havent had anything near this good. The peaty is ballanced and goes well with the fruity tones that come after the peat settles down. This will keep you going to the bottle for more.
