Fuller flavor than Jim Beam. A better choice at $15

It's very sweet with a bit of spice, but overall a pretty bland bourbon that I did not enjoy sipping neat. I revisited it a month later, and I liked it a bit more. It's a decent bourbon for later in the evening and with a bit of ice to dilute the sweetness, it goes down real well on a hot summer night. Factor in the higher-end packaging and very low cost, and this one's not all that bad.

Very spicy, smooth. Sweet with dry finish. Very good neat.

Smooth, but thin, weak, and low on flavor. Tastes watered down to me. It's not horrible, but massively overpriced, resulting in a major disappointment at the price point.

I've always liked Eagle Rare. It's a step up from Buffalo Trace, but below Weller 107 and Taylor. At its original sub $30 price point it's an excellent bourbon. Now, as it creeps higher, it has trouble justifying it's price.
