Edradour 2009 10 Year Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 13, 2019 (edited April 16, 2020)By far the best vintage of this series. Chocolate, spice, and a velvety oily texture. It’s a sherry bomb in disguise - tastes more like a well-aged bourbon but without the heat. -
Compass Box The Peat Monster (Classic Brown Label)
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed November 6, 2019Fills up the entire room with peat smell. I like peat but this is extreme. Very thin and has an overwhelming paint thinner taste. Smells peatier than it is. -
Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed October 11, 2019 (edited May 7, 2020)Sweet with floral notes and strong honey/caramel flavor. Tastes a bit watered down. -
Edradour 2008 10 Year Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed October 5, 2019Smooth and sweet with a hint of spice. Not all vintages are created equal - 2008 is significantly lighter and less rich than the 2009 version. -
Benrinnes 15 Year Flora & Fauna
